It is indedd fantastic that a Sri Lankan author, historian and researcher, Mihndukulasuriya Susanth Fernando (Life Memeber of the 155 year-old Royal Asiatic Society in Colombo), has discovered - over 2000 years after it happend - that the three main stupa in Anuradhapura, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka, are perfectly aligned with three stars in the Constellation of Orion. I also read in his book, "Alien Mysteries in Sri Lanka and Egypt" (published in 1997), that Fernando made his trail-blazing discovery way back in 1996; very much before the authors of "Heaven's Mirror" published their book in 1998, shedding light upon their findings on ancient structures in different countires (not about the Sri Lankan stupa), whcih are mysteriously aligned with the stars of Orion. Those learned authors realy honoured Susantha Fernando by confirming his discovery to the world. Sri Lankans through the ages have been indeed a weird and mysterious people, because Sri Lanka's ancient chronicles and even ancient travellers records mention that the Island was once inhabited by weird, non-human beings or 'aliens'. The mysterious Orion alignement of the famous, giant stupa in Sri Lanka could possibly have been influenced by aliens who were domiciled in the Island's past, and having extraordinary supernatural powers.
